Girls join us for a unique and exciting adventure as we host our 2021 Girl Expo and Volunteer Conference-A New Chapter in Girl Scouting. 

What is Girl EXPO and Volunteer Conference?  With the help of our volunteer steering committee, the Program Engagement and Volunteer Resources team members, we proudly offer more exciting programming to engage our girls and troops in all pillars of Girl Scouting! Registration is only $10 and will include a kit for all three of the programs: Picasso’s Patio Party, Blooming Friendships and STEM Bristle Bot.  Inside each kit will be a Girl EXPO participation patch and a free surprise gift for the first 50 girl registrants! Plus, each girl will receive a ‘bingo card’ to help them complete additional fun "Girl Scout-themed" activities on her own or with her troop. Those who participate in the bingo card activities will be eligible to win prizes during the Girl Showcase on April 30, 2021!

We also wanted to include something special for our adult members and will be offering a series of virtual training sessions to help our volunteers with personal and professional growth through the help of established and successful subject matter experts from our council territory and beyond! Register through the website events calendar by March 8, 2021. Zoom links will be sent through confirmation letter.

**Adults and Girls, be sure to check out the event, Virtual Girl Showcase, on April 30th where we will tie in all of the fun that has been happening around our Council and hear from two special guest speakers, Danielle Atherton-Rutledge and Courtney Heinzmann Kamm, author and illustrators of “Do You See” and “The Moon is Out”.  Register separately for that event for your chance to win exciting prizes!**

Cancellation Policy
Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If GSofSI cancels an event, registrants will be notified and offered a full refund. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, GSofSI has the right to either issue a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date. Registration Cancellation by Participant: Unless specifically stated on registration materials, the deadline to receive a refund for an event is the same day as the registration deadline. Cancellations will be accepted in writing only and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline. Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund. Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend an event. All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit card holder. All refunds will be made by the same method of payment (credit card or check). Cash will be refunded via check. Refund requests must include the name of the attendee and/or receipt. These above policies apply to all GSofSI Events unless otherwise noted in the corresponding event materials. Please read all individual event information thoroughly.
